                                            How to make charms!!

  Today I decided that I should blog about charms. I found this really cool video on how to make plastic shrink charms. This video explains on how to make these cute charms.  I hope you guys love this post! Plastic shrink charms are really easy to make because you get to draw your shape and then you bake! It sounds really simple because it is.

  If you don't want to watch the video then this explains on how to make the charms:

  First you need #6 recycled plastic,sharpie markers,wax paper,baking pan,oven,scissors,spoon or spatula, and a hole punch. Second cut the plastic from your container. Then, you can draw your shape on the plastic. Next, draw about 3 times bigger. Cut out each of your designs. Punch holes on where you want them. Place on baking sheet and pan with the side you colored on face up. Space out your charms. Preheat your oven around 250 degrees F then you can put your design in. Watch your charms curl up and shrink. Once they are small and flat again take the pan out of the oven. If some pieces are not flat then flat them out with your spoon or spatula while it is still hot. That is how to make a charm!

                               Making a collage!!!!!

 A collage is when you rip up tiny pieces of paper to resemble a picture. Collages are easy to make but it might be hard to resemble a picture with ripped up pieces of magazine paper. Try to look at the pictures of collages that I posted so you can get an idea of what you should make!

Things that you will need:

* a piece of paper
* a few magazines
* glue

For making your collage decide what you want to make first. Then look through your magazines and find the colors you need. You can rip out anything from the magazine that has the color or colors you need. Try to rip everything to tiny pieces and not all large pieces. Then, glue the things on the paper. You need to try to resemble your shape or picture so it won't be a bunch of ripped up pieces of paper. Try not to use scissors because your hands will make the it easier to make your collage.

                               A meaning of collage

A collage is a piece of art. It can be made with photos,newspaper,
ribbons,magazines,etc. A collage is on a piece of paper or you can call it a canvas. The collage is glued on the canvas. Making collages is a very old art. It can be traced back hundreds of years ago. Making collages reappeared in the 20th century as an art form of novelty. Collage means "glue" in French.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collage

 Hey guys, today I will show you how to make bat decorations for Halloween. The first thing is a hanging bat that is pretty easy to make. The second decoration is a bat mobile that is pretty cool so you should see the video that I posted. I hope that you will find all you need on my art blog!

                                                         Batty Halloween Decoration!
You will need:
                                                      * Black sock
This is batting
* Batting
* Black and white crafts foam
* Two black pipe cleaners
* Glue gun
* Scissors
* Safety pin

 First, you have to put batting up to the heel of  your black clean sock. Trim the extra fabric off. Then, you fold the fabric and secure it with a safety pin. Next, you cut your black and white foam out to make the bat wings, the eyes, and the mouth. Cut, the pipe cleaners into 3 pieces and twist the pieces together to make a bat foot. Lastly, you hot glue gun the eyes,wings,mouth,and the bats feet onto the bat. Hang your bat anywhere and enjoy your art skills.

                                              PUMPKINS!!!!
   Pumpkins are a big part of Halloween. Every year a lot of people like to decorate by carving or decorating their own pumpkin. Today I will teach you how to make your pumpkin the best in the patch. The first pumpkin you are going to see is....The Hungry Jack O' Lantern. This pumpkin is really cool looking. Anyway, this pumpkin is made up of a big pumpkin, a mini pumpkin, and a super  mini pumpkin for the nose of the mini pumpkin. First, you have to take your mini pumpkin and carve the top of it off. Then, you carve the face. Next, we will work on the big pumpkin. So, you start carving the eyes. As you see in the picture leave some space for the eye pupils. For the nose you glue the top of the mini pumpkin on. Then, you carve a big enough hole for the mouth so the mini pumpkin can fit. But, before you put your mini pumpkin in you need to glue your super mini pumpkin on for the nose.
       This next pumpkin is a pumpkin that can hold your candy! This pumpkin is very simple. To make this pumpkin you need to use black licorice, jellybeans gumdrops and a peanut shell. You can use green licorice for the hair. First, you need to carve the top of the pumpkin and throw the top away. I would prefer for you to scrub out all of the guts out of the pumpkin. Then, you can start to decorate. For the hair you can glue some green licorice on. Then, for the eyes you should use gumdrops and let it dry before adding any jellybeans on them. To make the nose you should use a part of a peanut shell to make the nose stand out. Then for the eyebrows and the outline of the mouth you should use black licorice. Lastly, you should glue the jellybeans inside the mouth outline. These are the steps to make a candy witch pumpkin!
